hspice level 3-->kappa=0 == spectre?

Guest
hi all,

i have an hspice level 3 parameter of nmos which has kappa value = 0,
i converted it into spectre equivalent. while simulation, spectre
showed a warning as
" nmos: The saturation channel conductance is zero in the model.
This could result in enormous gain and cause convergence
or overflow problems. Check the value of lambda or kappa "

In spectre mos3 parameter ranges kappa is defined as should be greater
than 0,
since i Can't change the kappa value in the model file.what could be a
solution for the warning

That notice (it's a notice, so less severe than a warning) is built into the
model (and appears to be good advice). You can't (I believe turn off the
specific notice). However, you can run "spectre -note netlist.scs" to
turn off display of all notices. See spectre -h for more details.

Regards,

Andrew.
