Hi, all

I have one of those with what looks like faulty paper sensor. Does nyone
have OfficeJet 6xx for parts? E-mail me ane let me know how much do you want
for the sensor. (I am after actual optoelectronic part, not the plastic
lever).

Thanks,
Rudolf

I have a complete OJ635 that you can have for parts.
I couldn't bring myself to chuck it - the colour cartridge
holder has been broken and sort-of-almost repaired.

I'm in Melbourne, $30 or make an offer.

the cartridge carriage is about $25 and takes 15 minutes to replace.

Interesting - do you have an part number? Anyhow I'm not sure the
printer isn't more trouble than it's worth. The scanner is sh*t,
the fax unnecessary (for me), and the printer, well, much better
colour printers are cheap.

I have a dead-ish 735 as well... but I didn't buy that one. In fact
I didn't buy the 635 either, I traded it for a GPIB pen plotter.

BTW, the design fault that allowed the little foot to break off
was a *kindergarten* mistake - any undergraduate mech eng student
who was asked to evaluate the design would point out the stress
point - not the sort of thing we traditionally expected of HP. I
guess times change...

Hi, Clifford,

Where in Melbourne are you and what is your phone number?
I hope, I can make one printer out of two.
