HP 8565A CRT ?

I have one with a broken crt and wonder if there is any other HP equpiment
that use the same tube? Also would like to know the CRT part number just in
case one shows up on ebay.

Why don't you look at the CRT and find the part number? Is it electrostatic
or magnetic deflection?
