HP 4145 Discs

Does anyone know of a source of 5.25" system discs for the old HP 4145
parametric analyzer, or a way of creating them? HP apparently no longer
supports this system.

Thanks,

The diskettes themselves are probably standard 360K 5 1/4 diskettes.

For the software, I suggest you post a query in comp.sys.hp.hardware.
Someone there may be able to point you in the right direction.

Dunno how much help this is but on ftp.agilent.com there's a file
/pub/callpub/ddt/dc_param/OS4145B

Scott,

It's an 4145 "A" model and the 5 1/4 floppies are a very unique
format. Something strange like a 82 track count. The only way to
address this is to find a good original OS floppy, an old 360K drive
and use a software program called "Anadisk" ( I think that's the
spelling).

That software will duplicate the floppy correctly..

HP Japan(YOK) decided a few years ago to drop support. Thus they
discarded ALL the parts to a local salvage company!! Just another way
to push the newer 4155/56 products...

Hope that helps....
