HP 3325A Function Generator crapped out

My HP3325A has moved from "working fine" to "brief flash of the LEDs
when the power button is pushed, then all goes dark" - and no indication
that things are behaving other than the displays (ie, blind button
punching does not get outputs.)

I have the manual and will work though it, but thought I'd ask if there
were any common issues that folks were aware of that I should look for
first when I go looking. Smells like some sort of power supply failure
at first guess, but I have not torn into ANYTHING, yet.

It's too nice (when working) to become a boat anchor.

Thanks!

Power supply would be my first guess. It's been years since I worked on
one. Does that generator use Mostek ROMS?

"The wise speak only of what they know, Grima son of Galmod." ;)

HP used to be an instruments company, and built some of the most
beautiful, accurate, bulletproof instruments ever seen. I have probably
two dozen of them, including two 3325As, both of which need some relays
replaced but are otherwise in perfect condition. One of the nicest
low-frequency synthesizers ever.

Cheers

Not obvious from the manual. I'll have a look when I get under the cover.

So far I haven't cleared the bench to get a look in; I'm moderately
slow, especially since the need is not too urgent. Had hopes for the
weekend but other things took up the time. I did ferret through the
manual and per the flowchart on page 8-31 I'm either looking at power
supply or logic (Group O or Group A) since the fan does start, but the
display (after that brief flash) is blank. Per figure 8-25 on page 8-22
the blower starting means the 5 v (unreg) supply is up though I'm having
a time trying to find that on the full schematic.

I also need to find my paper copy of the manual as the PDF is rather
annoying to use. This one I do have a paper copy (in hiding), the 5334A
I only have a PDF.
