how_to_add_instance

hello there,

we are having ic 5.0.0 ,how to add a instance in ic 5.0.0 virtuoso
schematic tool?.

while i tried to add thro the edit->probe->add instance i can't browse
for the cadence libraries such as anaologlib,samples etc.,

your solutions are most welcomed

probably the installation is not OK. I mean Design Kit installation,
normally there are no problems with Cadence installation. Either the overall
installation is not OK, either your project has not been set correctly.

And just a piece of advice - even if somebody had the will to help you, he
just cannot. You have provided too litle information. It is very useful if
you attach the "bullshits" that are produced by Cadence when you start it.
I.e. the log.

I think what you want is Add->Instance instead of Edit->Probe->Add
Instance. You might be better off going through some of the tutorials
that are included in the Cadence Documentation.
