How to use DVD player to charge car batt.

There was a item on Ebay that said
"DVD car battery charger - Simply plugs into cigarette lighter"

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I knew DVD technology was advancing but I never knew
they could be used to charge a car battery. I do like the idea
though. Just toss a DVD player in my trunk, and if the car wont
start, I simply plug the DVD player to the cig. lighter, and my
battery charges, and the car starts.

Now for the problem.
What movie should I put into the DVD player to charge my battery the
fastest?

Or save your money and hook a dynamo generator up to a hamster wheel. When
your car battery goes dead, pop the hamster in the wheel and bribe it with
some food to keep it running in the wheel. In a few days, your battery will
be charged enough to start the car!

Hmm. 8 of the 4AH D NiCad cells in series, can start a car a couple of
times on a single charge - might work. (but this assumes you are using
the industrial tagged type)
