I have 3 small mobile 4G LTE WiFi routers, purchased in the past with the intention to be used as USB 4G LTE modems with sim card.

Connecting to PC nothing is discovered under MS Windows

From the webpage of Orange mobile operator I read that to activate USB port for data trannsfer I need to connect 15 users via WiFi first to get USB for data unlocked.

I have 2 mobile Wifi routers by Huawei and 1 by ZTE

Contacted either Huawei or ZTE via Twitter but no response since Elon locked Twitter for private support questions if you didn\'t pay $100 for a pink cloud

I am interested in court action via ITU under Interoperability Act to have mobile WiFi routers unlocked by default to work as 4G LTE USB modems

Huawei, ZTE and other manufacturers of mobile WiFi 4G LTE routers should be banned of any homologation claims if USB modem feature is locked and I need to connect 15 WiFi users to get USB port for data unlocked.

In theory I can buy wifi router by Mikrotik to offer 15 Mac addresses
to simulate 15 wifi users to get USB modem feature unlocked
but I don\'t like monopoly practices.

Can you help ?

Interoperability is a characteristic of a product or system to work with other products or systems.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interoperability

SEC. 4. Interoperability.

(a) In general.—A covered platform shall maintain a set of transparent, third-party-accessible interfaces (including application programming interfaces) to facilitate and maintain interoperability with a competing business or a potential competing business that complies with the standards issued pursuant to section 6(c).

As WiFi host or client?

Yes, simply ban all Huawei and ZTE equipments.

Why would you need WiFi router as USB modem? Unless you are implementing host mode, you don\'t need routing features. Any smart phone (I use Alcatel phones) can be a USB modem.

Smartphone is for making phone calls

I don\'t love exposure to Wifi microwaves
USB 4G/LTE modem is easy hardware piece for PC, just insert and play Internet

Since Huawei, ZTE, ITU, EU Commissioner for Digital Age

https://commissioners.ec.europa.eu/index_en

don\'t respond via Twitter

I urgently need to find a solution on how to unlock mobile 4G LTE Wifi routers to work for me as USB 4G LTE modems.

You can make real money selling mobile Wifi 4G LTE router unlock feature to Millions of users of such equipment.

Smartphones feature tethering to share Internet access via Wifi to PC and other computer equipment
but millions affected by
Microwaves Hypersensitivity Syndrome
don\'t love Wifi

unlocked mobile WiFi 4G LTE router can be connected to PC via 2m long cable, keeeping you far from LTE 4G transmitter

Unfortunately monopoly rulez
and you have to buy either mobile wifi 4G LTE router or 4G LTE USB modem

Elon crashed Twitter as social platform and turned it into one-way broadcasting media agency
so no chance to get any direct support from manufacturers of my routers

You can make $$$Ms selling mobile Wifi 4G LTE router unlock solution to many

You don\'t use WiFi, only USB & 4G/LTE, when using phone as modem.

A router does not provide any additional feature than a phone.
