I want to print some text on the top left, top middle and top right of
a layout window. However I want the font size to be same irrespective
of the zoom factor or grid . How do I do it.

thanks,
Sriram

Sriram,

There's no mechanism for doing this. Labels (either database labels, or probe
labels, or hilight labels, all require a height in user units - not in pixels.

I think it recreates the hilight labels (I think that's what it's using), rather
than them really scaling...

I've not looked at the code to find out what it's doing, but I suspect it's
using some kind of trigger to recreate the labels after every operation.

Personally I don't like the way that feature of the Turbo Toolbox works... but
that's just a personal preference (and I can always turn them off, anyway!).

Andrew.

Andrew,
I posted this question earlier seperately. I could'nt find
answers. Can you tell me how to cycle through the layers and select an
edge / partial selection. If I use gecycleselectnext iam unable to do
partial selection as it selects the object in next layer completely.
I want to do this in order to select an edge from coincident edges.

thanks,
Sriram

I answered the other question - but this one is slightly different. I don't
think there's a function to cycle to the next partial selection. That would be
an enhancement request.

Not sure if that's what you actually want anyway - perhaps my answer to your
other question solves your problem?

Andrew.
