How to measure voltage drop across a inductor and resistor ?

I have got a pulse generator input about 10Mhz to 25Mhz across a
inductor and resistor (or cap) in series, just where should i measure
for the voltage ? (is it just the highest peak, since there are many
cycle w/ different amplitude.) and how should i measure the current on
that ?
