How to integrate drone + blimp + solar panel into a single flying spaceship ?...

I am trying to build solar drone
but solar panel is heavy, so extra lift force is required.
So I plan to attach helium, hydrogen or hot air filled balloon, blimp on top of drone to counterweight extra weight of solar panel

Since helium is highly expensive I would prefer hydrogen or hot air balloon.

Since hot air is generated by fire, I opt for hydrogen filled blimp or balloon

Let me know your opinion

thank you

The probelm with blimps is that they have too much surface area and
eventually blow away or get destroyed.

my dear friend,
you are exactly right about blimps
but I get success story about blimps from

http://english.aircas.ac.cn/ne/focus/202205/t20220515_305444.html

\"China\'s self-developed floating airship, designed for atmosphere observation, reached a record altitude of 9,032 meters in Tibet Autonomous Region on Sunday, according to its developer.

Developed by the Aerospace Information Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), the floating airship \"Jimu No.1\" type III has a volume of 9,060 cubic meters.

The floating airship can collect data at high altitude, which is used to track the regional water cycle and monitor changes in atmospheric composition.

The project, as part of China\'s second scientific research survey of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, was carried out by 64 scientists from several Chinese research institutions.

My settings is easy:

1. small drone, I own, i can put on my desk
2. small solar panel to live charge battery in my drone
3. balloon or blimp attached to the drone to balance extra weight of solar panel, attached to the drone

Data for helium I get from

https://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/helium-density-specific-weight-temperature-pressure-d_2090.html

I need to get balloon, blimp filled with hydrogen or helium since I give up hot air balloon for open fire risk.

Since helium is expensive I plan to start with hydrogen filled balloons if available locally, for low altitude,
windless indoor tests, to risk nothing.

I need to match voltage, power, size, weight of the attached solar panel to match internal battery in the drone (BMS),
to perform some tests with no balloon/ blimp attached
to calculate power/energy drawn by motors if extra cargo is attached to the drone.

For the next step I need balloon/ blimp of the size to match and balance extra weight attached to the drone.

Blimp should come with one extra flexible chamber to balance increase in helium pressure if exposed to direct sun.
For balloon, its shape should help, since balloon is never 100% filled with H2/He

I need to calculate today size of the balloon/blimp to balance weight of my solar panel.

Google... allintext:\"solar powered blimp\"

The opinion about blimps having too much surface area is a good one. Even
normal drones have limits on windspeed. With such a large surface area and a
small power source, that won\'t work.

Depending on the application, maybe it can be landed in order to recharge.
Like a frog hopping from one lily pad to another.

Drones are high power consumption vehicles.

Here\'s a comment from YouTube on \"solar powered drones\"...

\"What\'s more probable is to build a drone that is powered by beaming light to
it.\"
