Hi,

How to permanently enable these toolbars :

ADEL Setup&Run, ADE Tools, ADE Results

These happen to disappear sometimes and not even found in the Window Menu, toolbars options.

Thanks,
yvk

They'll only appear if you did a Launch->Analog Design Environment (or
whatever the menu is called). Presumably the window you're running in is
not linked to an ADE window?

Not very sure, since I always launch ADE from schematic only.

Is it something to do with ADE->session options -> session base -> schematic menus (tick/untick) ?

Thanks,
yvk

No, it's nothing to do with that - that's been present for years. The
toolbars should appear by default - unless you've overwritten the
toolbar definitions in a .cadence directory (e.g. in the working or home
directory)?

Andrew.

I havent overwritten any toolbar definitions.
my observation is that those menus disappear if I start using both ADE and ADEXL.

Thanks,
yvk

I wouldn't typically use both ADE L and XL on the same schematic at the
same time - but I can imagine that one might supersede the other. I've
not checked...

We're moving to a "plugin" type approach in the future (this is starting
in the upcoming IC616 release, but not sure it's used for ADE L/XL yet),
which would allow multiple sub-applications to co-exist, so hopefully
this should go away in the future.

Regards,

Andrew.
