How to count of the assertion failures in SV?

Getting started with SV assertions..
Can somebody tell me if there is a system call that
would return me the number of assertion failures?
Did I miss this anywhere in LRM?

Hi,
You can use VPI extensions to SV/SVA to do this, we show a sample example
(close to what you are looking for, not exactly though) in our latest book
on SVA. The code is available from www.abv-sva.org
