How do I fix my ceramic induction hob?

help! Two plates of my ceramic induction hob (Scholtes) don't work
anymore. Repair cost (according to the shop where i bought them) : >
800 Euro !! and they did not even had a look at it!
I believe there must be another way. Can anyone help me? Or does
anyone had the same problem?

There's probably a fault of some sort on the driver boards or in the
controller, likely fixable but you'd have to poke around in it and take some
measurments. If you have to ask, then it's probably not a good idea to poke
around in there, perhaps you can find someone who's worked on TV sets and
microwaves who is aware of the hazards.
