I made the same experience. After buying AoE I was disappointed with
it and
wrote an Email to Win about his claim to teach electronic design with
this
book. In contrary to Tietze-Schenk AoE represents an unconcise
collection of
circuits from different sources, but missing is the red thread going
through. It might be of value for the average hobbyist, but there is
no
didactical value IMHO.
