At under $100.00 the Arlec kit from Dick Smith (L5746)

has to count as cheap. The wireless feature should make it really easy
to install. It seems as though the alarm itself is inadequate but a
fairly simple add-on circuit should solve that problem. Unfortunately
I can't recommend it because I have not tried it but I would be very
interested in a post from someone who has.
