Hitachi Horizontal hold trouble

I Have a Hitachi TV MT-2862

The horizontal hold needs adjustment/repair, I get diagonal lines for a
picture
I tried randomly checking and replacing electrolytic caps but no luck, any
idea what I could try ?

I don't know if your unit is a TV or a compouter monitor but the horizontal
frequency potentiometer may be bad or need adjustment, if it has one.
