High voltage switching power supply

Hello;
I would like to design two switching power supplies:
1- Vin= 40 V DC & Vo= 1000 V DC @ 20mA
2- Vin= 40 V DC & Vo= 3000 V DC @ 10mA

Does anybody know any useful source of information in the internet so
that I can learn the design concepts of high voltage output switching
power supplies?
Also, I would like to know if there is any specific IC designed for
this purpose.

It ain't pretty, but one of the easiest ways to do this is to make
a simple saturated inductor up-converter 40V > Vout and supply it with
Vin from a linear regulator sensing the output voltage.
