Help with Ge 25" CTV

The TV works great, except that I cannot re-program the channels above #13.
Setup in the Menu isn't available. Haven't seen this before. Will appreciate
any help.

There should be a auto program feature is the setup menu.
If thats not there then the eeprom is defective also caused
from bad tuner,thats if its one of those that had bad grounds.
This is just guess work from here becasue you failed to give
inportant info like Model # Chassis #.

Lets have more info.

If you are trying to receive CABLE channels and the television is set for
OFF AIR/ANTENNA ..... or the other way around, this will cause the symptoms
you reported. Depending on the model number (which you neglected to post)
there may be a switch on the front or back of the television OR this
selection might be accessed via the MENU and/or the factory REMOTE CONTROL
and the on-screen display.

......or, if I am incorrect in my assumptions based on limited model number
information then, as john/kip suggested they may be tuner problems, EPROM
problems or other circuitry failures that need to be addressed.
In the future..... ALWAYS post the MODEL NUMBER and CHASSIS NUMBER if you
are hoping for specific repair suggestions......
I know that it is obvious to you that not all "Ge 25" CTV" are built the
same with the same parts, circuitry or design..... so always be more
specific with your postings..... you will get better replies.
