Would like to know source (business that has access to Apple's parts ordering
service), availability, and price for this part:

922-2458 IOP ROM v.3.0 (40-pin DIP) for LaserWriter 16/600

Would be also interested in sources of scavange parts (from dead printer).

Please also pass on this request to anyone you know that might be able to
help.

Thanks,

Yes. No joy. Lots of LW 16/600's, lots of 500-sheet paper feeders, no
"salvage" parts at all.

Here's a couple you may have already been told about;

I have a PLW NTR that needs help and plan on trying to fix it.
Good luck.

There is a 16/600 on eBay right now, bid is at $3.99 with 4 hours to go.
Was gonna tell just you, but since you don't have e-mail, I'll tell
everyone. Maybe he'll send just the motherboard.

Yes. Sometimes entire dead printers pop up, but the price along with shipping
just to get a ROM works out to be prohibitive. I've yet to find someone who
will send just the ROM, even if I bought the printer at auction.
