Hi,
I have a Sony SSM-20N5U monitor in very good condition. The unit has
single problem:
I see some sort of vertical line snaking to better describe it looks
like some sort of vertical ondulation that is mostly noticeable on
sides of boxes lines or text.
I would describe this almost like a video noise.
This occurs even when there is no video input cables connected and the
monitor is displaying it's built in menu etc...
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT's HAPPENING AND HOW CAN THIS BE FIXED.
I've attached a small video 3.9mb showing exactly what is happening.

double click here to play directly if you have a fast connection.
If you have slow connection or video above plays slowly, just click
below and save file to your desktop then play. Once the page is open
right click & select save as...

I have the tools(temp controlled station etc..) and good replacing
repairing, soldering skills but I lack the diagnostic and finding out
the problem part. If anyone can suggest some points for me to look at,
it would be great! Or perhaps which components are responsible for
this type of issue. I do have the service manual for this unit.
Thank you,
Kris
