Help Please

In 1998, I purchased an Emerson VCR/TV combination.
Can anyone tell me why, when playing a tape back, the voices are going a
mile a minute?

Corinne:
Quite possibly dirty VCR and VCR heads..... have it professionally
cleaned.....
......or very possibly a worn or damaged tape (try a different tape)......
..... or a malfunction in the VCR..... so you can make an intelligent repair
decision with facts instead of wild guesses you should TAKE it to a repair
shop for a diagnosis and repair cost estimate..... again it just may be
dirty and in need of a professional cleaning so don't toss the unit until
you know what the fault is.
