Help please, transient simulation problem with Protel 99SE S

Hello group,

I'm having problems with the spice simulator. At the end of my
simulations I always have a simulation error. During the simulation
everything works fine
and there are no stalls in calculation due to to many iterations. The
whole interval which was specified for the transient anlysis is
displayed.
I tried raising the the tolerance parameters and the iteration limits,
nothing
worked. In the design I placed lots of initial conditions according to
the settled state of the circuit - no change. The error states the
following:

Note: starting Gmin stepping
Note: One successful Gmin step <-- 11 times
Note: Gmin stepping completed

As far as I can see there's nothing said about an error ~:-(

The real pain is that I can't to any parameter sweep, tempearture or
MonteCarlo analysis because of the simulator abort.

Thanks in advance

It's not likely to be anything wrong with the simulator. Probably
something wrong with your semiconductor models or netlist.

If you want help you'll need to provide more information.

Charles.

What part of "Protel 99SE SP6" did you have trouble with Jim?

It uses XSpice.
