Hi,
Perhaps someone could help me ID this fault with a 24" Sony FW900 CRT:
- Screen is overbright, as if its brightness is maxed, even when set to Min.
- Faded Static Lines, somewhat horizontal, in Red, Green and Blue across
screen.
- Image (easy to see on text) appears out of focus or doubled up, as if
convergence is wrong.
I also have a faulty 21" Sony P1100 CRT (OEMed as HP). I brought it to a
repair place who rather unhelpfully told me the "line output transformer is
broken" and handed it back, claiming the parts arent available (from HP) to
fix it.
Any ideas or estimates on the cost of repair would be great if possible
also,
