Hi folks,
Does anyone know where I can purchase documentation on a JVC Tape deck
Model TD-W709? I was helping a friend set up gear for a fall festival
when we hooked into 230V instead of 120V. The power transformer is
blown and evidently the voltage regulators were also damaged. With a
schematic, I should have no problem sorting this one out. I really
feel terrible about this mistake. All of the usual sources say that
docs are no longer available from JVC.

David,
I've probably got that one in a file drawer at work.
I'll check on it tomorrow when I get back to work.
If so I can probably scan it and email it to you, or post it to my web site
for you to download.

Later,
Bill Jr

David,
I did a quick check at www.tritronicsinc.com and found under "parts lookup"
The power transformer part number is VTP52A5-021F at around $45.00
Not in stock but available to have ordered.

Hope this helps,
Bill Jr
