Please help I'm trying to find out if is the Emerson VCS966A a S-VHS
machine?
I know its an old one.

99% sure its not an S-VHS. Regular VHS Hi-Fi, and a fairly junky one at
that, though it's interesting - yesterday's junk often beats modern
equipment for quality...
