It is part of recently released Gameboy Advance game called Boktai.
This compoment is some type of sensor (called Sun sensor) that is used
to "recharge" a weapon in the game. After some trial and error, it has
been determined certain type of UV light worked the best.
Picture of the mystery compoment up close:

There are 3 leads on the compoment and 2 of them are labeled as K and A,
which suggest some type of diode. Both of the leads goes to a compoment
labeled as TLV272 (T272C on the chip). The 3rd lead doesn't appear to
connect to anything at all. Any idea exactly what compoment is that and
is there a technicial spec somewhere on the internet I could use to find
more about this sensor.
