What's it out of? There's a couple of possibilities.

Its from an analoge card used to control motors to make ribbons. The PCB is
populated with 74 series IC and a single 5 volt power supply. The chip is a
14 pin DIL. Manufactured by National Semiconductor. I have looked on their
site but still cant find any data.

An NTE equivalent is the NTE7400 which is probably a standard 7400
quad 2-input NAND gate.

It might pay to try the fairchild website as NatSemi flogged of a heap off
thier logic stuff to them a few years back. DM parts usually signify mil
speced parts.
