Help - Diva DRC / ChagedLayer

Every time I run Diva DRC on a cell, I have to do an
Edit Cellview Properties - Property and delete
drcSigniture and drcChecked to prevent changedLayer
from being added to the layout when I make edits.

How do I prevent the changedLayer function from
turning onn when I run Diva, until I want to use it?

Hi Joe,

Creation of the changedLayer is dependent on:

a) drcSignature/drcChecked properties on the cellView (created by a Diva DRC
run)
b) the contributesToChangedLayer property on a layer being enabled in the tech
file - changes to that layer cause the changedLayer to be modified.

If you never want the changedLayer to be created, turn this property off for
all layers. Since it is only needed if you're going to be doing incremental DRC,
you only need it enabled for that purpose.
