Headphones repair...

Hi...thanks to read. Please take a look at this URL:

The model is rp-HT400 from Technics. Do you know if there's any kind of
refurbishing kit available for those kind of headphones? A search on Google
only revealed infos for vintage headphones repair like remagnetizing the
magnets, repairing connections...etc... It's not just a throwaway 19.99$
pair, the sound quality after 3 years is still amazing so i would like to
repair the headband. I would like to do a nice job...not just wrap
electrical tape over the headband as some silly people suggested! :) Any
suggestion welcomed. TIA

Call Matsuchita and ask for their parts rep. If the headphones are more
than about 5 years, it may be impossible to have the parts. If you want a
very good headphones, look at the AKG, or the Seinhausser. These are tops.

Thanks Jerry...i'll call them this week to see if they have some parts wich
i would found surprising. :)

Did you meaned Sennheiser? At the time i've bought the headphones, i've

noticed that the brand Sennheiser was way over my budget so i've choosen the
Technics. I still think that i would not have found better for 120$. But at
the time i'm writing this, Sennheiser are now available in the "low" price
range of 100~150$. :)

MAYBE YOU CAN
JUST get yourself some nice black cloth ,
and cut it to twice the llength of the band , and just over twice the width
then stick or sew some velcrow to both edges , and wrap around the band
and press together the gripping edges
looks nice , u see no edges
and feels nice ... ?????????
