So called Superior Grade Cryo
Work ok and test ok but in use and the tester there is low
insertion/extraction force in the sockets. Dragon's teeth hold them in place
ok, so will not fall out. Measuring the pin diameters about 2.15 mm compared
to a random selection of others laying around of 2.3mm. Known problem ? or
leave alone or squash the pins a bit , perpendicular to the base forks gap ?
and colateral damage ?
These are from Peavey Deuce with final IC before the valves is corrupt so
possibility of intermittant valve action feeding spikes back into the
preamp ? no abnormal use admitted to , to have occassioned the IC failure
