Note that CVS on sourceforge is down so the source code repository is
now on SVN:

An interesting new feature in the SVN version (3.3.20_pre) is that if
you use --enable-slider-zoom in your ./configure, you can now also
zoom in and out by grabbing and stretching the very left/right sides
of the horizontal slider. It has some minor usability issues at the
moment so it is not enabled by default.
The FST reader/writer has undergone many file size and performance
optimizations is the past few releases. It is highly suggested that
instead of attempting to read large VCD files that they are converted
to FST first. Even with the conversion step, initialization and
reading will be much faster than simply reading VCD.
