Hello -
Some 3 years ago I bought a Grundig UMS-17-MD from Curry's (London,
UK). It gave me excellent service until recently and I am trying to
sort out what the problem is - hopefully you can help!
It was packed up in dry storage for the last 2 months. Both units
were disconnected and packed separately. (One unit contains the CD
player and the MD player, while the other one has tuner and main
system controls). I have since plugged them and reconnected them
both. When I turn on the power only certain buttons light (such as
the Record button for the MD *and* the play / pause button for the CD
player). Nothing lights on the tuner unit. There are no media (such
as a CD or MD) in either unit.
I have tried unplugging the entire system and leaving it idle,
thinking that there might be built-up static. No luck. Any ideas
what's wrong and whether this is a simple fix?
