Give it time. If you repeat something a sufficient number of times,
it eventually becomes truth or at least dogma.

If there's not enough interest in fixing global warming on Jupiter,
then just establish a connection between warming on Jupiter and Earth.

Perhaps as Jupiter's big red splotch disappears, something similar
might appear on Earth?

If there's no discernible scientific or financial connection between
Jupiter and Earth, perhaps it might be useful to borrow the Jupiter
name until something can be found or contrived:

I thought quantum mechanics says everything is connected, no? Why the emphasis on "discernible"? Maybe the problem is our "discerning" rather than the facts being wrong?

Yep. The science fiction plan of the moment is to colonize Mars.
Using the European colonization of the New World as a template, the
Martian colonization will probably follow the traditional pattern of:
Explore -> Exploit -> Consume -> Pollute -> Over-populate
Global warming is a feature of the latter stages of the process.
Probably, the reason why the pundits have jumped to global warming and
bypassed the previous colonization states is that we already know how
to properly explore, exploit, and consume. No sense in wasting time
and money on such details like how we're going to cost justify a
Martian colony. This feels much like shopping for a new house, and
discussing the quality of the trash service as the primary selection
criteria.

That is McDonald's, they are finally also changing that location from
the red/yellow theme to gray.

Do you fantasize that our planets have faces that require skin care
products?

You are a real piece of non-work. Did your pop miss the right
hole, and you are really the product of the wrong hole?

No, I don't consider planets to have faces at all. just a surface each.

Really. So now you are suggesting that the GRS is on the
'surface' of Jupiter?

Jupiter's 'surface' is hundreds of miles below that spot.

Face it, you have a problem with word usage.

There is more than one meaning for many if not most words.

Sorry to break the news to your two firing neurons... each.

Nice try though. Maybe you could build a big Tesla coil and zap
yourself. Maybe it will wake up more than just the two.

Jupiter is a cloud deck at various heights but at least contains some
interesting brownish organics so we can see details in the visible.

The other gas giants are similar - we see only the top of the clouds.

Venus is also a cloud deck but pretty much pure white sulphuric acid
mist. You can only ever see details on it in the UV band. Albedo 0.75

Only Enceladus with fresh snow beats it at albedo 0.99.

Earth is albedo 0.39 - a theme for Jean Michelle Jarre

About 3:30 in - seems to crash IE 10.
