Gould OS300 Scope problem

The mains transformer of my Gould OS300 scope seems to have gone. I have
disconnected all secondaries and the 950 EHT measures only 150V and with
not load the transformer soon gets hot. Sounds like shorted tunrns to me.

So is there anywhere in the UK I can get a replacement for a reasonable
price? Also is shorted EHT windings a common problem is scopes?

Hi Ian,

My OS255 has the same problem, I think the only way to repair the
scope is to fit it with a rebuild or custom build transformer.
