Can someone tell me a suitable replacement for this
low-power pnp transistor type ?
And - even better! - where they may be obtained ?
They were used in the Marconi TF2700, but I can't
even find a spec for them now.

Jim Hawkins

Germanium PNP
TO1 package
Vcb 30v
Vce 30v
Veb 15v
Ic 1A
Hfe 60MN

Equiv:
AC126
2N2431

is a useful list of early transistors.

AC128 seems to match the main parameters.

Thanks Graham, and for the list of early transistors.

Gosh, you got no brain, first check your spec for this part, second go through transistor selection guide. Check with Motorola databook dummy.

#1 your listing is incomplete, Ib is very important! #2 how can we trust your recommendation? Care to provide the link the the datasheet?
