Gentlemen and Ladies: Question - I have a nearly new monito

....but it died after I had for 2 weeks. This was years ago. No pic.
Someone once told me it was the flyback.

Does this sound reasonable on such small amounts of information as I
have provided here?

It is a 15" CTX, which, I imagine, would work well again if it was a
simple problem.

Let me hear what you think. I wok in television but am not an
engineer. My knowledge only goes so far, here.

It is not good to guess at what is wrong with any piece of equipment without
going in and diagnosing the actual fault by taking readings, and etc. There
are many factors involved to properly troubleshoot a monitor, and service it
properly.

I would suggest you take the monitor to a service centre, and have it
properly checked, and let them give you an estimate. You may find that
considering the age and generation of the monitor, it may not be worth to
service, if the parts are still available.

A wok... in a tele... now there's an idea! :O

Depending on what you do in "television" (I assume you mean
"broadcasting") perhaps your company (or a company you deal with) has
service techs? Find out what beer they like and make a deal!
