A template for what?

Andrew.

Hi Andrew,
I want to generate a template file consisting of
the I/O pins location/constraints
rows partitions and boundary of the layout generated from schematic
using standard cells.
lxTpSaveTemplate() opens up a GUI to do this. I would like
to know if there is a function that would the same from commandline or
CIW. I don'nt want to use the "save template" menu in layoutXL.

thanks,
Sriram
