Generating .cdb file

SOC Encounter requires a .cdb file to generate the spice netlist of
the clock tree.

With .lib, .lef, and spice netlist of each standard cell that are
there in my library, how should I go about generating the .cdb file so
that I can extract the spice netlist of clock tree?

regards,
Ashutosh

Not really my area, but that would be make_cdb ...
Try running "cdnshelp" and searching for either ".cdb" or
"make_cdb" and you'll find information.

Thanks for your point Andrew.

Unfortunately, this did not work for me. I did not find any command
make_cdb in my installation. No idea why.

For now, I am generating clock tree using a bunch of scripts.

I can only assume you're using a very old encounter version, because I went back
to even SOC52, and make_cdb was there (in <instdir>/tools/bin ).

Andrew.
