Does anybody know how to get a SCR model in Geda/ngspice? I want to
model forced commutation circuits since I don't really have the means
to experiment much with real components and I want my design to stand
a good chance of working before I try it!
There isn't a SCR symbol in Geda's library, and although I can find
models for SCR's on the net, can't find a way to import them (I
believe ngspice should be able to import pspice models)
I don't think using the two-transistor equivalent would be an adequate
simulation for what I want - or can someone suggest how to accurately
model a SCR, including recombination time?
