Dear all,
You may have seen my post somewhere up there ^ in which I posted a link
to some 3D layout pictures.
Since then, I've been making the program I used to help generate the
pictures more useful. This program is gds2pov. It takes gds2 data and
converts it to a POV-Ray scene file. POV-Ray is a completely free cross
platform ray tracer.
All you need is some depth information about your process (or you can
make it up), as well as the layer mappings.
gds2pov is available for Windows, Linux (x86) and Solaris (Sparc).
See http://www.atchoo.org/gds2pov for examples and downloads.
POV-Ray is available from http://www.povray.org
I hope someone finds this of interest!
Cheers,
Roger
