gds2 problem

Hi,
We generated the gds2 file for our chip. But when we stream in the gds2
file, we found the layout becomes much larger. The layout actually doesn't
change but it has a huge extra empty space abut to it. After doing DRC and
delete the marker, this empty space is gone. We don't know what causes
the restored layout to have this empty space. Does anyone have the same
problem before?

Thank you very much!

sincerely

Changed layer? Is the "changed" layer normally visible in your design?
If not switch to the LSW->edit and turn on the changed layer.

Also any other invisible warning layers. Your stream out deck should
actually be filtering out these and other non-design layers so they have
no chance of coming back in check the PIPO log for a list of the layers
actually streamed out. You should be checking the layer numbers against
the foundry list in any case.
