G810 flyback

I replaced the flyback TLFA01365 in my G810 monitor. The unit comes
up now, but will not stay on for very long (maybe 2 mins). The sync
light stays on (green), but the screen goes black, just like before I
replaced the flyback. Is there some other part getting hot (voltage
regulator maybe) that would cause this?

thanks,

Brent

are you sure power saving is not activated in the BIOS for the Mobo or in
the OS you are runing?

Try turning down the G2 voltage on the flyback
(knob by the focus)
