I have a Viewsonic g790, and theres arcing from where the flyback connects

Exactly where is the arcing coming from? If it's on the bottom of the PCB

Exactly where is the arcing coming from? If it's on the bottom of the PCB
it could be bad solder joints. Check for anything that could be causing a
short near the flyback. If there is arcing on top of the flyback, then it
could be bad or cracked. I would replace it then.

You may have two problems: (1) Excessive high voltage which caused (2) theIts comeing from where the red wire attaches to the top of the transformer,
to somewhere under the magnets (i really don't know much about it), i looked
close and i think one of the magnets is broken.
