Future Low Energy Cleaners

The Vacuum Cleaners we use today have many major flaws.

1/. They release contaminated air back into the home environment.

2/. They blow dust from furniture allowing it to become air born.

3/. They needlessly waste large amounts energy.

The 22 million cleaners used in the UK waste most of the power taken
from UK Wind Farms.

4/. They are noisy and smelly.

An alternative to the Vacuum Cleaner exists and has undergone over ten years
of testing.

But because of the reluctance of cleaner manufacturers to change their
designs, I now call for others to help me to impress their Governments on
the importance of this project and to spread the information.

Not too accurate.
1) There is a vacuum cleaner design that captures *all* of the dust,
dirt and other junk; the design inherently forces all of the fine
particles to be captured and the larger stuff is trapped.
2) See number one.
3) "needlesly" is a subjective term and has no merit in a logical
discussion.
4) "smelly" is an incorrect term for the majority of vacuum cleaners
that i have seen.

I like it. My first q was what about heat dissipation, but of course
cutting down to 350w makes that far less of an issue, and at that kind
of power a metal bag cover could dissipate some of that.

I always open the doors when vacuuming, they cetainly chuck a lot of
junk into the air. Yet to find one that doesnt, though some are worse
than others.

I imagine water trap vacuum cleaners can capture the smaller stuff ok,
but it sounds like a hassle emptying dirty water out after every clean
and refilling before each.

The website needs sorting though. Black on a blue and white background
is illegible, a big grey square with 'click' on it obscures the text,
and all that talk about wind farms... irrelevant and quite
unprofessional.

A former employee used to turn on his evap cooler and then go
room-to-room with a compressor hose.

He would open the windows in a room, then blow the dust off of the
furniture with the air jet from the compressor. The dust followed the
evap cooler air flow right out the window.

I kid you not.

His typical grocery list was a six-pack, a can of beans and a can of
cat food ;-)

(For those non-Arizonans, an evap(orative) cooler has a squirrel cage
blower with (typically) 6500 cfm capability.)

I love to cook with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.
