working 9010A with no RS232 and no tape - ideal for parts, dedicated board
tester (with appropriate pod, sold separately) $80 shipped in US

2 6502 pods, complete, cosmetics ok but dingy, one has a busted screw post
that holds the cover on but I will throw in a free extra cover from another
pod, cabling good, no broken pins, they show pod timeout error in selftest
$145 shipped in US

Asynchronous clock module for signature analysis, used, in excellent
condition, NOTE YOU !!MUST!! have a 9010 with the clock option installed to
use this !! $125 shipped in US - requires a setup tape, which is available
from John Robertson

5 all different pods, all tested and guaranteed to pass self test, $350
shipped in US - guaranteed no 6502 Z80 or 6809 in the lot :)

Model 90 testers for 6809 CPU - brand new in package - they do not come with
docs or power supplies - but I have sold 7 with no complaints, and one with
complaint (no power supply was the complaint) $140 shipped in US. These
are freestanding testers for the 6809 that do not require a 9010, and do not
require removal of the IC from the circuit

Who would want that obsolete and antique junk- not sure it was all that
useful in its day....

I sold well over $1000 worth in the last 3 days, and that is just to
newsgroup customers. I have steady customers amongst Fortune 500 companies,
domestic and foriegn airlines, the Australian Airforce, etc

You would be surprised at how many planes use controllers designed in the
late 70s and early 1980s; the elevator control industry is also pretty much
running on 1980s technology. I have a major railroad as a customer;
apparently the telemetry that is used to monitor axle bearing temperatures
is based on "obsolete" CPUs as well.

These people never heard of a laptop with logic analyzer pod? Obsolete
technology does not require obsolete test equipment. Now if you wanted
to make a killing- just think of someway it could be used for audio
amplifier performance measurement, they would go for $1000/ea on a bad day.

Good thought but it is a totally digital device; any attempt to do A/D
conversion would introduce its own set of distortions and skew the
measurements - but youre right, if I had a good source of high end test
equipment I would be making some serious bucks on that - look at what Tucker
gets for stuff they no doubt buy for pennies on the dollar.

The 90 series of testors draw power from the UUT (Unit Under Test) and
hence do not need a power supply!

Not just Tucker, although they seem to be the priciest of the lot.
One good, reasonable source I've found is Bid Service.

John - so I thought but apparently there is a jack for the power supply . .
.. .
You wouldnt happen to have a manual for any one of the 90 series would you?
thanks
