Free PCell development tool now available on Windows

PyCell Studio is Ciranova's free product for authoring interoperable
OpenAccess PCells and layout generators. You may be interested to know
that a Microsoft Windows version of PyCell Studio is now available.
This means that you can author PyCells using Windows-based
environments, and then deploy them on another platform, such as Linux
or Solaris. A single PyCell library will work on any platform,
regardless of which platform was used to create it.

To download PyCell Studio for free, visit http://www.ciranova.com. The
download includes open source python code for a variety of
sophisticated PCells, including Nmos and Pmos transistors,
differential pairs, spiral inductors, matched resistor pairs, comb
capacitors, and more.

PyCell Studio was chosen by the IPL Alliance as the mechanism for
creating Interoperable PCell Libraries under OpenAccess. For more

Bullpoop. A skill PCell can do all the things it can do because skill is
hugely powerful and the many applications that manipulate skill PCells are
developed using the same hugely powerful api.

IPL can't and never will have this kind of power so you can't manipulate
the PyCells like you can with skill inside the application.

Its all ciranova marketing hype.
