Hi All, I have a Magnavox CTV in for repair with a S/C fr-307 diode. Can
anyone give me an equivalent as this diode seems not to be available. It is a
fast recovery type used in the Horizontal width correction stage.
Thanks
Joe

It is actually a FR-309 not 307.
Sorry for the mixup.
Anyone got details on thos diode.
Thanks
Joe

Can't locate FR309 but I suspect it is similar to SF309

Depending on the manufacturer's increments in voltage this device
would equate to Rectron HER308

Thanks Ross for the info.I tried a FR-307 but I still have E-W distortion
which is only noticable when line are on the screen.I suspect the diode as
the culprit.
Thanks again for the info.
Cheers
Joe
