Hi,
SRAM FPGAs have a start-up current spike greater than 1A.
TI have a FPGA power supply document on there web site that provides
various power supply circuits for FPGAs. I am particularly interested
in using an Altera Cyclone FPGA.
Questions:
(1) What is the minimum input current - from an off-the-shelf
power supply - for use with the TI circuits ?
(2) How can I model these circuits using Protel DXP ?
Cheers
