Foxtel in 2 rooms Rabbit Ears ?

I want to have Foxtel on my TV downstairs.
Now I know I can buy these so called Rabbit ears that have 2 antennas, and
you can only watch the channel that is on the main TV.

But my question is , how good is the quality, do you get interferience ?

And roughly how much should I pay ?

There are RF AV transmitters and receivers that use 2.4 GHz spectrum. These
would appear to be the things you described. Much smaller than rabbit ears.
Cost a bit under $100 (AUD) in DSE or Jaycar etc.

Quality is OK but some are vulnerable to interference from microwave ovens
and other noise sources.

Yes, you can only watch the channel or source that's on the main TV, unless
you rig up a switch to the transmitter so you can source your audio and
video from different places such as FTA TV, VCR, Foxbox etc.

You can see them working in DSE Powerhouse stores etc.

Some also are equipped with IR transmitters/recievers .. meaning you can get
a programable remote, learn it from your Foxtel remote, then have a remote
in the 2nd room. That way you can change your foxtel channel from the 2nd
telly .. not recomended if someone else is watching the primary one tho ;)
